Alan joined Malmaison & Hotel du Vin in January 2006 from Le Meridien where he held the role of Vice President: Finance of Europe for two years.
Alan has a total of 12 years hospitality experience in the deluxe market segment, following 4 years with KPMG. This includes 3 years at the Royal Hotel in South Africa (voted best deluxe hotel for five consecutive years), responsibility for the opening of The Palace Hotel at Sun City (one of the Leading Hotels of the World), and the role of Deputy Financial Manager for Sun City Resorts (comprising 4 hotels, the largest gaming facility in Africa, and extensive leisure facilities).
