Sean Wheeler
Group Director of People
Sean has held Operations and Human Resources roles within leading hospitality companies including Whitbread and Mitchell’s & Butlers. He joined Malmaison and Hotel du Vin as Group Director of People in February 2005.
Sean is a member of the Acorn Committee, that promotes the industry to potential employees and is a past Acorn winner. This year, under Sean’s stewardship Malmaison & Hotel du Vin won ‘The Best Places to Work’ Award in the UK’s hospitality industry. Sean Wheeler was also named ‘Group People Development Manager of the Year’ at the 2008 Cateys awards hosted by Caterer and Hotelkeeper, adding to his list of achievements since he joined the Mal team.
